Great Britains Car Show 6/6

While attending the June 6th Great Britains car show held in conjunction with the Huntington Beach Concours, I encountered many (enthusiastic) members of the Austin Healey Club.

A robust discussion, involving layers of coin- flipping, resulted in the appointment of myself as the recorder of attendance. Never one to shun gambling debts, herein follows my ledger of attendees.

John Hummer and Alice Johnson drove their primrose ‘57 BN4, Greg Aden was in his BJ7, Monica Lago-Kaytis came in her BT7, Phil Caliva drove his (new to him) ‘74 Jensen Healey, NEW AH Club member Mike Walkey drove his 67 BJ8, George McHarris had his Healey blue chariot, Bob Clark (and his neighbor Jim) came in his BJ8, Nancy Asahina and Steve Schreiber were in their BRG ‘72 MGB, Mike Biss and Anna were in their MG TC, and his brother Tom Biss displayed his Lotus. And of course, I was there also, driving my Jaguar (sorry, the Austin Healey is in temporary storage...) A big part of the "upper meadow" usually populated (invaded?) by us Brits was taken up by the Vintage T-Birds club. Although there weren't quite as many British cars this year, the event was well represented by the Austin Healey badge--in fact, there were more AH's than any other British cars. We also had some winners in our Class. George McHarris took 3rd place and Monica Lago-Katis took 5th place. Friend of the club Richard Schnyder garnered 2nd place. Here's looking forward to next year's event! Lots of photos were taken, including a group photo by Alice, and many individuals committed to sending their snapshots for inclusion. In the interim, I'm attaching the few photos I took...

Respectfully submitted.
