Legacy Tustin C&C 8/16

Had a good ride to Tustin Legacy arriving just a little after 7am in our ‘57 Primrose BN4. We parked in the second row as directed, but then I got a phone call from George McHarris that they were holding a spot on the fourth row. So, we moved and parked next to a beautiful Jaguar Saloon, and Jim Bennett was next to us on the other side in his ‘61 black TriCarb. I checked out his newly installed StayFast tonneau; I had given him some pointers on installation at Belmont Shore.
George drove his Mini Cooper giving the Healey Blue BN2 a break for the day (it’s actually in the shop). Joe Cristerna was in his stand-in Miata until he gets his BN2 project car roadworthy. Steve Schryver and Nancy Asahina were in Steve’s ‘72Green MGB. And of course, our dear “cousin” Richard Schnyder was in his blue ‘74 TR6.
Now, there’s another side to today’s get together. There was a red ‘71 MGB GT driven by its original owner and another pretty red MGB in the lot. The MG Club had posted about a drive after Tustin Legacy through Silverado Canyon with those previously mentioned MGB’s to the Silverado Cafe for a good Brunch shared with old friends and new friends that we met there.
