Happy New Year to everyone! Hopefully everyone had a great Holiday season, it’s now time to get back to serious driving of our Healey’s.

In January we don’t have any major Club events so hopefully everyone will try to make one of the recurring events in your area. However, the season starts heating up with the annual San Juan Capistrano event on February 3rd. Then one month later there is the Festival of Whales event at the Dana Point Harbor on March 3rd. Space is limited and if you are interested in showing your car you need to contact Mike Scroggie sooner than later.

In April we hope to have several Club events. A Tech Session at my shop in Harbor City after the British Car Show at Golden Cove on the 21st, with a scenic drive around the PV Peninsula to my shop. Also, the British  Car Swap meet at Steve Kirby’s shop is scheduled on the 27th. Then the Queens English All-British show is scheduled on the 28th.

May is the California Healey Week on May 13-17th in San Luis Obispo. Steve Kirby is arranging a follow up excursion to the Healey Rendezvous gathering in British Columbia, contact him if interested.

Also, for those that may be interested, the British Extravaganza races and car show are the following weekend at Buttonwillow. I was thinking about putting together a drive to Bakersfield on the Friday after Healey Week and spending the weekend at the event. If at all interested let me know! Happy Healeying!
