Balboa Fun Zone & Tustin Legacy 9/10

Today was almost a wash but Chuck and I decided to go on to the Balboa show even though it was raining very steady to the way of our Chevron meet up on Bellflower and 405 South, I arrived and met Chuck and we decided the rain would stop soon, wrong the rain followed us to Balboa , well such is life! We met Nancy and Steve Shriver and headed for the donut shop were it was nice and warm, plus the Croissants were waiting, but a big surprise walked in Mr.

Dexter with his BJ9 Truck and we were the show.

We eat our breakfast , had fun chatting and then headed to the Tustin / Legends Show, needles to say the cars were a bit wet, but if you drive fast they dry off quicker.

We arrived at the show ,but only a small handful of cars were present, such as a nice M.B. 280 SL, a Ferrari 308 Coupe, a Baxter Porsche and a couple of no name nothings.

Our same group from balboa ws present and by around 0900 the weather was really nice and we all headed home.

Chuck gets credit for the photos.

I headed to my shop to meet a prospective bidder to my 1940 Ford Deluxe Tudor/modified Hot Rod, that was ending a no reserve auction at 1:25 PM on Bring a Trailer live auction, it all went well with the car inspection and I headed home around 10:30 to monitor the auction and answer questions from bidders, as a result at the end a bidder from No. Calif. Won the auction, so one less car to deal with! Another busy great day in Paradice! and it was mighty nice to see Dexter joining in the activities.

Cheers and Ciao
