Inland Empire Farmer Boys 3 4

Greetings Gang, A break in the rain, snow, and graupel (graupel???) came at the perfect time for our breakfast gathering. We had a smaller group this time, but there has been a lot going on.

I've been working on my wife's '64 Austin Healey to fix a charging problem. The ignition light was out at idle but came back on with increased RPM. Odd? I believe it turned out to be the regulator. I swapped out the Lucas unit for a Harding unit I had, and it seems good now. I decided to drive the BJ8 to Farmer Boys. Give it a good road test. Well, it seems everything is working fine. I'm going to add a 12v power port (aka cigarette lighter) for charging my cell phone and use a plug-in combo voltmeter/USB port that Amazon sells to know more about what the charging circuit is doing while on the road.
