Petersen Museum Breakfast Cruise 5/29

The end of May Breakfast Cruise-In at the Petersen was scheduled to be general car gathering, so I headed down to the Miracle Mile just before 8am. When I arrived on the third floor of the parking structure, I was directed to park next to a 1962 Iso. This was a car I wasn’t familiar with, but it had beautiful, classic lines, so I wasn’t sad to be in its company.

Across the parking aisle was Dave Beugen with his Rolls Royce convertible and a few spaces farther down was Greg Cosh’s 100-6 Austin-Healey with the seamed bonnet. It turned into a beautiful morning for checking out the wide variety of cars on hand, but first it was time for coffee and donuts. After breakfast I walked up and down the rows of cars admiring all the automotive art on hand. From the brass-era 1906 Buick, which won the Petersen Museum Award, to the aforementioned Iso, which won the Best of Show Award, it was car after car to drool over. Before I knew it, it was close to 10am and time to head home, knowing that next month I would be able to do it again.
