From the Vice President

It seems like I am repeating myself, but it was another month of event cancellations in February.

Things appear to be opening up due to the roll out of the vaccine. Most of us will have had or be scheduled for our shots by then. The Jaguar Owners Club has invited the Club to join them on March 21st for their Vernal Equinox Rally/Tour in the Anaheim Hills area. Check the website calendar for more details. In April, the Club event is Queens English on the 25th. Then in May is the much-anticipated Healey Conclave at Big Bear. In June there is the British Car Show at the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo on the 19th. Following that some of us will be driving up to the Lewis & Clark Rally in Oregon, leaving on the 23rd for a 10-day excursion. On July 10th is the re-re-scheduled San Juan Capistrano Show.

There are also the normal weekly recurring events that are being well attended. Plus, several of our members are always planning other non- club events and drives. So there is no excuse for not getting out in your Healey while practicing safe distancing and wearing your masks.

Speaking of the Conclave, we will be needing at least 12 volunteers to help with the car show.

Some to help organize the groups in the parking lot and others to help guide the drivers to the correct location for their class on the street. If interested in helping let me know at gladen@aol.com and I will put you on the list.

Thanks, and see you at the events . . . .
