It was very cool when we left Redondo Beach.
Lupita and I pulled into the shopping center parking lot at about 8:20 and there were just a few cars on hand; we thought we had the wrong Sunday. A short time later Chuck Lakowski, followed by Bob Bolling and Jay Miller rolled in.
Then the lot started filling up. The sky was clear and the sun was out and the peninsula started to get warm and the layers of clothes started coming off. The surprise visitor this morning was Club newsletter editor Tim McNiff, who made the drive down from Glendale.
Gabriel and Grace were talking about the status of the repairs on their Healey. Chuck Meng brought his Triumph Spitfire and Phil Caliva arrived as Nancy's passenger, but then had his own set of wheels as he visited with all the British car owners on hand.
