Inland Empire - 4/7

Greetings Group, The great weather returned and we had a good turnout.

Fourteen car guys and gals and eight classics.  Jimmy Davis in his '56 AH 100 was again the first to arrive.  Sandy and I drove our '59 AH Bugeye this time to get it ready for Solvang in September and it ran great.  Bill Wilkman chose to drive his about-to-be-painted Austin A40 Sport.  Jim Cregg brought his Morris racer.  Laurie Jordan pulled in with his '67 AH BJ8.

Tom Hauss and granddaughter Hannah Auges from Fullerton also arrived in his '67 AH BJ8.  Allan and Tina Perry came in their AH BT7 Tri-carb.  Richard Priebe was in his "09 Chevy HHR future classic.  Also there in other vehicles were Tom Spangler, Bob Saber and Jon Doherty.  We pushed a bunch of tables together and enjoyed another nice breakfast in the freshly remodeled Farmer Boys.

Next month our event is on Saturday the 5th of May, Cinco de Mayo, at 8:00 am at Farmer Boys in Riverside on Alessandro Blvd.  So, if you’re not in Hawaii or Colorado or somewhere else, we hope to see you.

Cheers!

PS - Tony's Platt's AH 3000 problem was the condenser after all. A $3.00 part. If only we had had one to try, we would have found the culprit and been heroes. I think he intends to convert to the Ignitor ignition which will eliminate the points and condenser. At least he will have a known good set to carry as backup.
