Well, tropical storm Hilary and the small Ojai earthquake are behind us, and the days are getting shorter, but we still will have plenty of time to enjoy the club’s events.
In September we have several Club events including Healey Week at Lake Tahoe from September 18th -22nd. On the 10th we added the popular Belmont Shore Classic Car Show as a Club event. Peter Roses and I have just added a tour of the Mullin Museum in Oxnard on the 30th, the Saturday before the Central Coast British Car Show. Arrangements have also been made at the Casa Via Mar Inn in Oxnard/Point Hueneme, which is close to the car show, for discounted rooms for that Saturday night. $159 for a King and $169 for two Queens. In October we have two popular Club events on the 1st, the Central Coast British Car Show and for those in Orange County that don’t want to drive up to Oxnard there is the Laguna Beach Car Show. Additionally, the Monrovia Classic Car Show has been moved to October 21st and is a Club Event.
Therefore, it looks like we have a lot of opportunities to drive our Healey’s and I hope to see you at the events!
