This month we have the always great San Juan Capistrano Show on the 11th, which is also the date for the monthly club Spirit Points Orange County Classic Car & Coffee. Maybe Alice will change the date.
As a reminder we have been approached by NASCAR asking the club to participate in their car corral at their race on February 26th where we will be able to display our cars and attend the race. Cost is $55 per car and driver and $40 for passengers. This includes parking in the corral and a great grandstand seat. We have 30 seats set aside for the club in section 80 rows 26-28 This will be the Pinal NASCAR race on the track in its current configuration, so if you ever wanted to attend a NASCAR race this is your opportunity.
Registration on their link closed on January 31st but knowing we all are procrastinators I with them to allow late comers to attend; but you need to contact me and I will get you in touch with the appropriate person at NASCAR.
March is the Dana Point “Festival of Whales”, and registration is open on the web site but they are limiting it to 30 cars in total so if interested I recommend you contact Mike Scroggie ASAP.
In April we will be having two club events: the first is a tour of the Nethercutt Collection on the 15th after the Universal Theatre Cars & Coffee and it appears it will be a very popular event with over 20 members and guests registered already and then the Queens English show at Woodley Park on the 23rd.
