The beginning of February will be a busy time with club events on the first two weekends.
First is the 2022 So-Cal Historic Sports Car Festival at the Auto Club Speedway on the 5th where Haggerty’s is sponsoring a car show in the morning and then all attendee’s will be given an opportunity to drive their cars on the track for a few spirited, but monitored, laps before watching the racing in the afternoon. The following weekend is the San Juan Capistrano Car show. Back at its normal time on the 12th. In March we have the Dana Point Festival of the Whales on the 6th and in April we will hold a Tech Session on April 9th after the United Artists Cars and Coffee in the morning. It will give pointers on detailing our cars for Healey week plus there will be a Q&A Session on Sprites. Then on the 10th we have the Queens English Show at Woodley Park.
Registration has been opened for the 2022 Dana Point Car Show on August 28th with an early bird fee of $35 until June 30th www.DanaPointCarShow.com.
Registration for the 2022 San Clemente Car Show on September 10th opens on February 1st at www.scsarshow.com. Also, for those interested the Petersen Museum has set up a monthly cruise to the Collector Car Vault in Santa Paula February 13th and March 13th but you have to register on the Petersen Museum website. The February event is Sold Out so if you want to participate sign up for the March event! Reminder! Register for the 2022 California Healey Week in Palm Springs from May 9-13th!
