Greetings Group, Best turn out ever! We had twenty people show up for our September gathering and breakfast.
That beat our old record. I guess people want to get out there and do things again. We even got Steve Kirby to join us from Orange County. Steve is the President of the Austin Healey Association of Southern California. We had four First timers.
Glad you could join us.
It was going to be very warm by mid-morning, so some decided to skip breakfast and stayed in the parking lot enjoying the display. We had a great time seeing a real nice mix of Classic Cars and their owners.
I brought a " What the heck is it? ". I didn't show it with the patch kit. That would have been too easy. About half the group knew what it was anyway.
The cast aluminum vice is used to secure a rubber patch to an inner tube while the cement dries. I didn't stump everyone but that was okay, it was still fun. If you have an interesting automotive gizmo, please bring it next time you come and see how we do.
