We have added a new Orange County event to replace the San Clemente Outlets Show on the second Saturday of each month. It is a renewal of the Original OC Cars and Coffee that is held at different locations each week. The location of the meet is announced by email just before each event and word will be given out by either Richard Schnyder or Alice Johnson.
It looks like the next two months are going to be a busy time for many of our club members, with double Club events on several of the weekends. In September we have two Club events on the 11th with the downtown San Clemente Car Show, primarily for the Orange County members and the 30th annual Monrovia Classic Car Show in Old Town for the Northern area members and anyone else. Then there is the Laguna Beach Classic Car Show on the 26th as well as the joint event with the Jaguar Club at the USS Iowa.
October has the rescheduled Central Coast British Car show on the 3rd, which is usually well attended, as well as the San Diego British Car Day which are two of my favorite shows. I’m bummed that I will have to miss the San Diego Show this year. Then the Dana Point Lantern District show on the 17th as well as our normal monthly events.
November, so far, is a much more relaxed month with only the 2021 SoCal Historic Sports Car Festival on the 20th at the Auto Club Speedway in Ontario; as well as our monthly events. New events seem to be popping up all the time so check the events calendar on the web site.
