From the Vice President

Hopefully, everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend and saluted those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can enjoy our hobby.
It appears that some of us have been able to get out and enjoy our Healey’s or other classic vehicles with some great drives around the Southern California countryside during the month of May. As far as the club events it appears that several events are starting up again; if only on an informal basis with the lessening of the stay-at-home restrictions. That said, we have put all the normal events back on the calendar for June but I would advise you to verify they are happening before you venture out to them.
The June club event, the British Car Show at the Automobile Driving Museum on June 20th is still scheduled to happen and they are taking registrations on their web site, www.automobiledrivingmuseum.org. We will again be meeting in the parking lot behind the Starbucks at the corner of PCH and Mariposa Ave, El Segundo and driving the two blocks to the museum at 9:00 AM.
Also, as of this date (Final decision to be made on June 1) club member Reid Trummel is still planning on holding his Lewis & Clark Classic Rally on June 26-28 in Oregon and Steve Kirby (the ultimate trip planner) is putting together a great trip up there and back. Check it out if interested in attending. Peter Roses' Tech Session was rescheduled to July 18th following the United Artists coffee and cars.
Keep safe and see you at the events!
