Greetings Group, Well, summer hasn't left us quite yet. It's getting cooler but today was still hot and humid. Despite that we had a good turnout. The morning was already warm with the promise of warmer as we wound our way through San Timeteo Canyon in Sandy's BJ8. We expected to see a blanket of smoke, from the fire in Murrieta, as we crested the top of Redlands Blvd. but it was quite clear.
Jimmie Davis in his AH 100 was holding some parking for us when we arrived just ahead of Jim Cregg in his Morris Cooper racer. Larry Reynolds parked his Morgan next to Jim, and we were soon joined by Randy Clary and passenger Larry Maloney and Gary Clendenning in their Jensen Healeys. Bill Wilkman parked his Austin A-40 Sport next to them.
A very impressive lineup of Classics. Also joining us for breakfast were Brad Benson and Sergio Ontiveros.
Please note that the October breakfast will be pushed back to the second Saturday to allow attendance at the All British swap meet in Lake Forest. We hope to see you October 12th at Farmer Boys on Alessandro Blvd. in Riverside at 8:00 am. Cheers!
