We had another fine gathering of Hot Rods, Customs, Rat Rods, Stock, and Modified cars and trucks. Approximately sixty vehicles showed up for the event. Everyone had a good time kicking tires, talking to the spectators, and eating at one of several restaurants on the street.
The folks from Reids’ Rods had cupcakes they gave away for as long as they lasted, which wasn't very long! They had dice rolling for prizes, a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, and an award for Best of Show. Seems the award for People’s Choice was dropped and broke so no one received this distinction. They will make up for this in the weeks to come.
This is a fun little event, held every Friday, they start parking cars at 4:00 pm and it's over by 8:00 pm. Starting on October 5th the entry fee will go up to $3.00 per car, all proceeds to fight ALS. Let’s see some Healey’s out at this event and have some fun.
