It was another chilly morning, though the sun was out, as I motored out to Woodland Hills. Today was scheduled to be the Lotus marque. And there were a wide variety of Lotuses on hand. As I checked out the other cars on hand I knew that before too long I would be joined by Phil Caliva, who was making his usual stop at Trancas Canyon before tearing up the canyons on his way to Woodland Hills.
Soon I was rewarded with the sight of Phil pulling in, dragging along Dave Beugen in his Rolls convertible and David Thorne with wife Lisa in their BJ8. After some car talk everyone started checking out the cars, which included some nice examples of pickups and a flatbed car hauler. We then ran into member Rich Jones, sans car, who was just checking out the scene. He promised that soon he would have his Healey on the road.
We need more members to come out to this interesting show; May will be 60-70’s German cars and June’s marque is Lamborgini.
