From the President

Published on 8/1/2017

Well, like it or not, I am your President for another year.

During this time, I hope to work with the Board to develop the next generation of club leaders. I want to thank Jay Miller, John Hedblom, Bill Wilkman, Tim McNiff and Marty Hovivian for continuing to serve another year as officers and Board Members. I also would like to congratulate our new Vice President Greg Aden...he has hit the ground running with the assistance and training of outgoing VP, Steve Kirby.

We look forward to another successful year for the club.

It is that time of year to begin planning for California Healey Week, 2018. We are now forming the planning committee...it you would like to serve the club in this capacity, please let me know. The roles/tasks include site selection, hotel negotiations, sponsor recruiting, registration, and planning for things like the car show, drives, Rocker Cover Racing, the silent auction and food & beverage. The locations currently being considered include the desert (La Quinta, Palm Desert, Temecula, etc.), and the beach (Santa Barbara, Mission Bay, Del Mar, etc.). If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. CHW 2018 will probably be scheduled for the fall, so as to avoid the summer heat and to not conflict with the European Healey Meet in Germany in June, 2018.

Since the recent cancellation of the Aliso Viejo Cars & Coffee event. We have decided to support the new Cars & Coffee at the San Clemente outlet stores parking lot on the second Saturday of the month. I encourage our
