Sunday, May 21st, some friends and I headed up to Santa Barbara for the annual State Street car show. Over 300 hand-picked special interest and antique cars showed up in downtown Santa Barbara. The lineup included lowriders, Ford Mustangs, Chevy Corvettes, Volkswagens, exotics, muscle cars, and European classics.
Thousands of spectators enjoyed the cars, the live music from local bands and the chance to reminisce about “the good old days”. Proceeds from the show support local and national charities like the Lions club, Page Youth Center, and the Wounded Warrior Project. I had a great time and the best part was having my new Healey featured in a photo in the Santa Barbara Noozhawk.
