Petersen Museum Breakfast Cruise In - 4/30

It's that time of month again for a leisurely breakfast of Bagels and Coffee at the Petersen Automotive Museum. So we headed out from various points on the compass for our goal, the Petersen! This month they were spotlighting Japanese Cars, but the museum also wanted all the regulars to bring their cars and attend the event. The first indication of a possible glitch was the construction/road closed signs on Fairfax. As I got to 8th street the Cops had Fairfax barricaded and they were sending everyone to the right (east) on 8th with no left turn into the museum! Then I looked up the street; every street racer in California must have been there! I got in line, and ended up pushing the Sprite to the museum instead of starting it every ten feet I give Tim McNiff a call close to 9:00 to see if he had gotten in, he was still in line, but could see the signal on Fairfax

Turned out he was behind me somewhere in the line. Once in the museum, which was a trick in itself, finding a parking spot was something else, all levels except the 1st were filled. I ended up on the 2nd floor, Phil Caliva was on the 3rd and Dexter Kaytis was on the 4th. Tim never got in, in fact the last we heard from him, he was circling the down town area looking for a way out.
