Summer is almost here! I trust this note Hinds you all in good health and that you are getting out and enjoying your rides. I hear our intrepid Ozarks crew are having another great time based on the pictures they are sharing. It looks like another one of Steve Kirby’s epic adventures. I suspect many of us are looking forward to hearing all about their adventures. It also seems like many of you are getting out on the weekends racking up your Spirit points at many of the local shows and events. Keep up the great work! CHW 2025- CHW 2025 is only 4 months away until we tour Yosemite. We have increased to 39 registrations and 72 registrants planning to attend now. We have begun reaching out for volunteers for the drives and event coordination, so stay tuned. A LOT of fun is planned for CHW 2025. Although we aren’t into summer quite yet, I am already looking forward to fall. It is so beautiful up there. Some of us are even planning a fly-fishing adventure on the way. Also, as a reminder, David Nock from the GGAHC is setting up a fall colors tour just before CHW 2025 and in fact, just finished his Hirst one of the 2025 season. David’s tour will pass through some of the gold rush back roads and Sierra passes looking for the perfect fall scenery. As a reminder, CHW 2025 is the second week of October 2025, so I hope you will consider joining us.
75th Anniversary International Healey Meet- Well, the planning for the 75th International Healey Meet in Lake Tahoe in June of 2027 continues. It has been a little quiet with Steve touring the Ozarks and attending the Healey Conclave 2025 in Branson, MO. and Mark Lewis from the GGAHC on his hike up the full length of the Pacific Crest Trail, but the coordination continues. Steve Kirby is coordinating with several potential VIPs and owners of special cars and boats. We plan to open registration soon for those in North America, so keep an eye out for the announcement.
New members- Please join me in welcoming another new member- Michelle Bothof. Michelle hails from Valley Center. Welcome Michelle.
I hope to see many of you on the road and at our numerous cars and coffee gatherings and shows. Keep those cars out there, bringing smiles to those that see you on the road as well those that tell you about their experiences with the beautiful Healey’s. Also, when considering having work done on your cars, please consider our sponsors. They help our club and provide rare and needed services and products.
As always, safe motoring and stay well!
