Nancy Asahina and Steve Shryver in Steve’s ‘72 MGB and George McHarris in his BJ9/ Mini Cooper, met with John Hummer and Alice Johnson in their ‘57 Primrose BN4 Longbridge, at the Fun Zone on Balboa Peninsula for a breakfast sandwich and coffee prior to heading to the initial Saturday Tustin Legacy, since it was changed from the 2nd Sunday of the month to the 3rd Saturday of the month.
Our 3 cars pulled into the parking lot at Tustin Legacy to be greeted by a large and diverse crowd of familiar faces from the former Sunday group which included : Mike Biss with Babe in the 100 M and brother Tom Biss in the hand-built Lotus, Tony Trentacost was in his red over white BJ8, Bob Clark in his Healey Blue BJ8 and Jim Bennett in his newly acquired black tri-carb with hardtop.
Other dear friends (but non-members) like the one and only Richard Schnyder were present.
