Supercar Sunday 8/4

Getting going this morning was harder than usual after the long, hot day at the Police Academy Car show on Saturday. Drove to Woodland Hills and pulled into the Pierce College parking lot to find Phil Caliva just settling in.
Right behind me were Clay Kaytis in his 3000 MkI and Monica Lago-Kaytis in her new Bugeye. Monica was still on a euphoric high after winning Best Import at the Police Academy Show the previous day. Shortly after their arrival Jack Gies pulled in with his ‘64 BJ8, followed by Fred Cohen in his classic Datsun 510.
Today’s Marque was celebrating Shelby Cobras, Mustang GT’s, and GT-40's, and there was a nice showing of them all. Before I went to get coffee and a breakfast Burrito, we took a few group pictures and then Phil, Clay, and Monica took off for Trancas Canyon.
After eating, I checked out the cars, those in the corral and those in general parking before packing up and heading home.
