Balboa Fun Zone C&C 8/11

Well, it’s just hard to break old habits. So, since Finish Line took over the Tustin Legacy car get together and moved it from the 2nd Sunday of the month to the 3rd Saturday of the month, a few of us diehards still had to meet at the Balboa Fun Zone for either a breakfast sandwich or donut and a coffee.
Steve Schryver and Nancy Asahina showed in Steve’s ‘72 British green MGB and John Hummer and Alice Johnson drove their ‘57 Primrose BN4 100-6 to the Fun Zone.
After a breakfast sandwich and coffee and some good conversation, Alice wanted a Drive to extend a nice car morning, so I called the Guard house at The Strand community in Dana Point that I was coming to see a house under construction right on the ocean. It is a project I am overseeing the construction of, and it became a destination and excuse to get a ride in.
We traveled down PCH to the Stand in clear comfortable temps and conditions. It was a short look around and then we went on our own ways.
