Well, the heat is still around for most of our members.
Hopefully everyone is staying hydrated, and your Healey’s are staying cool. Luckily in the Coastal area’s the weather is still mild for the numerous events being held.
In September we are back to two Club events, the Belmont Shore show in Long Beach on the 8th and the Central Coast British Car Show in Oxnard on the 22nd.
On September 28th Dexter’s family has scheduled a celebration of life in Palos Verdes including a drive around the Peninsula along Dex’s favorite roads.
Then in October we have four Club events: the first is the Palm Springs Car Fest for the Inland Empire guys and gals to enjoy on the 5th, then either the San Diego British Car Day on Coronado Island or the Laguna Beach Rotary Car Show on the 6th followed by the Downtown Monrovia show on the 19th. Also, the SoCal MG Club has invited us to join them for their Boots and Bonnets Car show at the Zimmerman on October 5th. So, it looks like a very busy month for those gathering Spirit Points.
In November we do not have any specified Club events yet, but who knows what will show up for those trying to gather final Spirit Award points. Also, a reminder the Clubs Annual Holiday Party is scheduled for December 15th at the Long Beach Shoreline Yacht Club so mark your calendars.
