The summer heat is on us early this year and hopefully everyone is staying hydrated, and your Healey’s are staying cool. Luckily in the Coastal area’s the weather has been mild for the numerous events being held.
In August we only have one Club event, the “Sold Out” Dana Point Lantern District Car Show on the 25th. In September we are back to two Club events, the Belmont Shore show in Long Beach on the 8th and the Central Coast British Car Show in Oxnard on the 22nd. Then in October we have four Club events: the First is the Palm Springs Car Fest for the Inland Empire guys and gals to enjoy on the 5th, then either the San Diego British Car Day or the Laguna Beach Car Show on the 6th followed by the Oldtown Monrovia show on the 19th. It will be interesting to see which shows Phil and Chuck decide to attend.
It looks like we will be able to get out and enjoy our Healey’s no matter where you are in Southern California.
On a personal note, it is great seeing Dexter’s son Clay at the events enjoying his dad’s car. The word is that his wife Monica has just purchased a great Bugeye from NorCal, so I will be looking forward to seeing both of them in their cars at future events.
