CHW 2024 Funkhana Tuesday 5/14

This was my third (3rd) year taking the lead in presenting Funkhana at California Healey Week. I again had a great crew of Golden Gate Austin Healey Club volunteers. Members of the Austin Healey Club of Southern California and employees at the Embassy Suites also pitched in as needed and were a great help. It’s a little work, but such a joy working with people for the purpose of fun.
The site was a perfect set up for the various games, and it was sunny. Also windy, which made playing some of the games challenging but we had some hearty and determined competitors.
A small crowd, compared to all in attendance, turned out for the fun and as I walked around, I heard animated conversations and laughter. Everyone who came to play said they had a great time. Some people surprised themselves with their abilities! Winners:
