Greetings All, Well, it's August in Southern California and the heat is on in the Inland Empire.
Even facing 100 degree weather later in the day, we had a good group for our classic cars and breakfast. Since we break up around 10am most would get home before the real heat. Don't forget that you are welcome in whatever gets you here and there.
Tom Yaeger brought some interesting tools for show and tell. Kelly is seen holding a valve lapping tool. The box has a cork punch tool for making stoppers for medicine bottles and a souvenir advertising bat for a 1954 Hudson. Cool.
Those attending with their classic were: Bill Wilkman - '47 Austin A40 Sports, Jim Cregg - '61 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7, Kevin Spangler - '57 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad wagon, Allan and Tina Perry - '60 Austin-Healey BN7 modified, Tom Yaeger - '76 MGB, Kelly Barton - '62 MGA, Dan Messinger - '65 Sunbeam Tiger, Randy Clary - '73 Jensen Healey, Ron Paiz - '68 Ford Mustang - just added the 'C" stripe side accent - Looks great! Those attending in future classics; Jimmie Davis - '04 Mercury Marquis - hopes to get his AH 100 back in about a week, Ron and Sandy Davies - '13 Mazda Miata PRHT, Sergio Ontiveros - '08 BMW Z4, Larry Reynolds - '08 Infinity G37-S New to the Group: Manuel Reyes - '67 Austin-Healey project car at home.
